Just as island life is beginning to slow down enough to give us some headspace to think about, you know – things like our health – the third Ibiza Wellness Weekend provides a welcome opportunity to reconnect with mind, body and soul.
Running from October 28th – 30th 2022, the three-day event offers a varied timetable filled with enticing classes, talks and activities all dedicated to feeling our very best again after an exceptionally busy summer.
The III Ibiza Wellness Weekend is organised by Ibiza Health & Beauty, a division of the Fomento del Turismo de la Isla de Ibiza, with support from Consell d’Eivissa and collaborators Ajuntament d’Eivissa, Balearia ferries, and Born Living Yoga.
The event will be raising funds for the award-winning Plataforma Sociosanitaria Pitiusa, a workspace with shared resources made up of 17 associations dedicated to working with people at risk of social exclusion and / or special needs. To find out more about the associations involved click here.
From yoga and Pilates sessions to land- and sea-bound outdoor activities such as trekking, cycling, kayaking or Stand-Up Paddleboarding, showcooking demonstrations, mindfulness classes and personal development talks, healthy food tastings, art therapy and guided cultural tours through historic parts of Ibiza, there is something to enjoy for every age and fitness level.
All of the activities are set off against the paradisiacal backdrop of the White Isle, of course, and a special highlight to look out for is the Big Funfitt & Yoga Masterclass by YouTube fitness coach Susana Yàbar and Awa Yoga on Saturday, October 29th, from 17:00 until 19:30.
The session will be soundtracked by DJ Sylvia Operé and broadcast live on Ibiza Global Radio. If you can’t attend in person, you also have the option to follow along live on Susana Yábar’s YouTube channel.
A weekend pass that covers all activities over the course of the three days costs 50€ per person, while passes for individual sessions cost only 10€.
Not based on Ibiza? Visitors who are coming from outside of the island can enjoy a special discount from Balearia ferries as well as a number of collaborating hotels.
